Hello,

my name is Emily

I’m a graphic designer based in Edmonton with a background in marketing, communications, and brand design. Since graduating from NAIT’s Graphic Communications program, I’ve worked across agency, academic, public sector, and freelance environments creating visual work that helps organizations communicate clearly and connect with their audiences. My work spans digital campaigns, social media content, print materials, and brand-focused design.

Most recently, I worked as a Graphic Designer and Communications Specialist with the University of Alberta’s Indigenous Global Health Research Group, where I led digital design and communications for initiatives supporting over $22M in research funding. In this role, I translated complex health and research information into accessible visual content for web, social media, presentations, and print. It was an experience that strengthened both my design thinking and my ability to collaborate with researchers, communicators, and leadership teams.

Alongside this role, I’ve contributed design work in several different contexts. I’ve created campaign assets and promotional materials for automotive marketing as a freelance designer, produced municipal communications graphics during my internship with Strathcona County, and earlier in my career coordinated digital marketing campaigns in a fast-paced agency environment. Across these experiences, I’ve developed a strong foundation in campaign design, brand consistency, and producing polished work across both digital and print platforms. I’m always curious about how design can better connect with people, and I enjoy finding thoughtful solutions that balance creativity, clarity, and purpose.

Outside of design, you’ll usually find me spending time with my cats, exploring new cafes around the city, or watching movies. I recently discovered Letterboxd and can’t stop logging films!
